I was apalled to hear that Chris Matthews of MSNBC called people who believe in the rights of people from the point of conception as terrorists. There is quite a lot of stirring among evangelicals regarding this type of persecution which is taking place in the mainstream media. Watch here:
Never forget what must happen prior to Jesus’ return.
2 Timothy 3:1 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.”
2 Peter 3:3 “First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.”
There are those who want to handle this and other examples of persecution, in ways of the world. A wonderful defender of the faith, Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council, is calling for mass emailing to Chris Matthews. While I don’t want to discourage this, for the obvious media bias should be confronted. I suggest the mightiest action we, as believers can take is prayer.
If you scoff at my suggestion in your heart of hearts, let me suggest you read Psalm 109:1-15. God will not be mocked. (Galatians 6:7, Job 11:11, Psalm 74:10, Proverbs 9:7, Isaiah 29:19-21, Isaiah 57:4)
Do not be so surprised by what is going on in the world, my friends. The world has their agenda. The Lord has His. The “pottery” continues to try to run the “Potter” out of the shop. But it is His shop! (Isaiah 29:16)
