President Obama not an obvious follower of Christ? Join the club.

Then, it hit me. What would my statistic be among people who knew me, but did not know my background? What percentage of my acquaintances would know I am a Christian? I’m afraid, my numbers would probably be lower than Mr. Obama’s. Embarrassing to say? Of course.

To My Young Friend, Krista.

As a young person, I would read Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” I would trust those words because of the testimony of the one who wrote them. I trusted Paul. Why did I trust Paul?
